Prawn chilli
Ingredients:
- Prawns - 1/2 kg, cleaned
- Green Capsicum - 1 small sized, chopped
- Onions - 1 medium sized, chopped
- Spring Onions - a handful
- Greens of Spring Onions - for garnishing
- Salt - to taste
- Cornflour - 2 tablespoon mixed with 1/4 cup water
- Maida - 2 tablespoon
- Soya Sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Pepper Powder - 1 tablespoon
- Eggs - 1 no, white
- Ginger Garlic paste - 2 teaspoon
- Red Chilli Powder - 1 teaspoon
- Oil - 4 tablespoon
- Vinegar - 1 teaspoon
Directions:
- In a bowl, add cornflour, maida, salt and egg. Mix it well and make a fine paste.
- Dip in the prawns to the paste and marinate for half an hour.
- Deep fry the prawns and keep it aside.
- Heat oil, add onion, a little salt and fry till it light brown.
- Add capsicum, spring onions, ginger garlic paste and saute for sometime.
- Add red chilli powder, pepper powder and fry for a minute.
- Add soya sauce, tomato sauce, salt to taste and mix well.
- Add the fried prawns and cook for sometime.
- Garnish with Greens of Spring onions
