Carrot halwa
Ingredients:
- Carrot - 2 cups, grated
- Milk - 1 1/2 cups
- Koya - 1 teaspoon
- Sugar - 1/2 cup
- Almond - 1 teaspoon, chopped
- Cardamom Powder - 1/4 teaspoon
- Cashewnuts - 1 tablespoon, chopped
- Raisins - 1/2 teaspoon, chopped
Directions:
- In a wide pan, add ghee, roast all the dry nuts for a minute.
- Add the grated carrot, milk and keep stirring constantly on low flame.
- Once the milk is absorbed and carrots are cooked, add sugar.
- Add koya and cardamom powder.
- Carrot Halwa is ready to eat. Serve it hot or cold.
