Kaara chutney

Ingredients:

  1. Onion-1(chopped)
  2. Tomato-3
  3. Dry red chilli-10
  4. Tamarind-very small lime size
  5. Oil 3 tsp
  6. Urad dhal 1 tsp
  7. Mustard seed 1/2 tsp
  8. Salt-to taste

Directions:

  1. Heat oil in a kadai, fry onion till they become golden brown.
  2. Add tomatoes and fry till the oil comes out and keep it aside.
  3. Fry dry red chillies and tamrind seperately in a tbsp of oil
  4. Allow both to cool down.
  5. Grind it in a mixer with salt to taste
  6. Temper with urad dal,mustard n red chilli.

"Now the hot kaara chutney is ready to serve"
