Chicken capsicum masala

Ingredients:

  • Chicken - 12 pieces, medium sized
  • Onion - 2 medium sized, chopped
  • Green Chilli - 2 no
  • Ginger paste - 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic paste - 1 1/2 teaspoon
  • Coriander Leaves (cilantro) - 3 tablespoon
  • Coriander Powder - 2 teaspoon
  • Garam Masala - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Green Capsicum - 1 no
  • Tomato - 1 no, medium sized, chopped
  • Red Chilli Powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Oil - 2 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste

Directions:

  1. Heat oil in  a pan, add green chillies,  onions, ginger paste, garlic paste and fry till onion turns light brown.
  2. Add coriander powder, garam masala powder and saute it.
  3. Add chicken pieces and mix well.
  4. Add chopped coriander leaves, salt to taste and mix well.
  5. Add 2 glasses of water, cover and cook for 20 minutes on a medium flame.
  6. Add capsicum, tomatoes, coriander leaves and mix well.
  7. Cover and cook on a high flame for 2 minutes.
  8. Serve with simple ghee rice.
